Burgundy expert, Allen Meadows, gave our 2005 Quailhurst Vineyard Pinot Noir a 90 point rating and writes,
“The classic deeply pitched and intense red dark berry fruit nuanced with hints of earth and briar leads to rich, round, cool and supple flavors that possess lovely texture and solid precision on the complex and persistent finish. Not surprisingly, there is a touch of youthful asperity but that should round out with a year or two in bottle. Worth a look as this is stylish. Good until 2011.”
